Planning a shoot can almost be compared to planning a wedding. Book your photographer, pick a date, find your models, plan wardrobe, coordinate hair and makeup.
I recently found all of this first hand as I coordinated a shoot for the first time.

I recently got an inspiration to do a series of era themed shoots. The first era I'm tackling is the 1920's.
My initial inspiration actually came from seeing a picture of a friend of mine, her hair had that dark finger wave look. I knew this would be a fun series to accomplish. I contacted a couple of my photographer friends and started to hash out a plan. The first shoot is a collaboration with Old Fashioned Principle, ( I'm working on a series of ideas). I love how he can capture that old fashioned feeling in his shoots. One of my friends gladly modeled for me, plus a model recommended by the photographer. It was brilliant to see two fashion stories come out of this shoot. A more refined side of the 1920's, and a more young and free side.
I can't wait to tackle my next idea!
